Question
Calculate the length of arm of couple, if a force of 13 N produces a moment of couple of 14.3 Nm.
Solution
Moment of couple = Force × Arm of couple
14.3 Nm = 13 N × Arm of couple
Arm of couple = `14.3/13`
= 1.1 m.
