Given atomic mass of Cu = 63·5, H = 1, O = 16, C=12, N = 14, Mg = 24, S = 32

Solution

Molecular mass of CuSO4.5H2O

63.5 + 32 + (4 × 16) + (10 × 1) + (5 × 16)

= 63.5 + 32 + 64 + 10 + 80

= 249.5
