Sample space associated with the experiment, S = {2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11}
∴Total number of outcomes = 10
Let A be the event of drawing a card with a prime number.
The cards with prime number are 2, 3, 5, 7 and 11.
Number of outcomes in favour of event A = 5
`therefore \text{Requried probablity =P(A)}=(text{Number of outcomes in favour of A})/(text{ Total number of outcomes i})5/10=1/2`
