Question
Compose a short prayer in English asking God to guide you in your teenage years. Later, you can even try to make the lines rhyme to give it a poetic form.
Solution
Prayer
Dear God, I am now soon going to be an adult. Help me make the correct choices. Help me to choose the good rather than the evil and love instead of hate. When people are unkind to me, help me respond to them with kindness. Keep me from being bitter in any way. Help me do my best at all times and be thoughtful to everyone around me. Help me to be a good person who helps others and spreads joy.
Poem
It’s a humble request Dear almighty,
Let me choose good over wicked,
And love over hatred.
Give me the strength to be kind to the unkind,
And to do better each day with a sharp mind.
Help me be compassionate,
And loyal and devoted in any state
Dear God, hear my appeal, let your young child,
Spread joy and happiness worldwide.
