Explain any three factors that led India to emerge as a new Centre of Power.

1. India is seen as a major developing global force in the 21^st century. The world is witnessing India's might and rise in multiple dimensions. India boasts the world's second most enormous population due to its location's economic, cultural, and strategic importance. A population of more than 135 crores has a very strong strategic position.
2. From an economic perspective, aiming for a $5 trillion economy, a competitive global market, and an old inclusive culture with 200 million Indian Diaspora dispersed over the globe give India special significance and salience as a new Centre of Power in the 21^st century.

3. Strategically, the Indian military is self-sufficient in nuclear technology, making it yet another nuclear power. The 'Make in India' initiative in technology and research is another economic milestone for India. These changes are transforming India into a major power centre in the modern world.
