Solution
- Women’s empowerment aims to strengthen women. It includes various steps aimed at making women more informed, capable and independent. In the post-independence phase of the Women’s Movement, several issues for their empowerment have come to the fore.
- The movement continues to gather momentum by percolating into the rural and tribal parts of India. It takes various forms, from women as beneficiaries to women as participants.
- Women from various professions, such as journalism, academics, medicine, and corporations, have enthusiastically joined the mission of empowering women.
- The Women’s Movement can said to be the most prolific and pluralist movement. Its evolution and growth cannot be described in a monolithic fashion, using a singular criterion of chronology, ideology or geography. It has gone through several phases.
