Question
Explain the following term:
Hit Wicket
Solution
When a batsman touches and breaks the wicket while trying to hit a ball or run for a first run, this applies to the bat and any misplaced parts of the batsman's gear, such as a helmet or pair of glasses. The bowler is declared the winner if a batsman is out caught, bowled, leg before wicket, stumped, or hit wicket. If there is any other way to get a wicket, no one is given credit for taking it.
