Question
Explain the term Stance in cricket.
Solution
The stance is the position in which a batsman stands to have the ball bowled to them. Batsmen normally place their feet about 6-8inch apart or the feet should be comfortably apart, neither too far nor too close, on either side of the popping crease, and no pressure on the heels or the toes. The knees should be slightly bent, with their weight distributed evenly for good balance and mobility.
