(i) Crop Rotation:
The growth of one variety of crop after the other. Pulses or any leguminous crop is grown after cereal crops. High fertilizer intensive crops like sugarcane or tobacco are rotated with cereal crops.
(ii) Crop Combination:
Growing of different crops in the same field at the same time is known as crop combination.
