Explain why boiled or distilled water tastes flat.
Solution
There is no flavor in pure water. The gasses and solids that are dissolved in water, or the impurities that are there, give it its taste. As boiled and distilled water are pure containing no impurities hence they taste flat i.e., are tasteless.
