Solution
Product = −24, sum = 2
Split the middle term as 6mn and −4mn
m2 + 2mn – 24m2 = m2 + 6mn – 4mn – 24n2
= m(m + 6n) – 4n(m + 6n)
= (m + 6n)(m – 4n)
