Solution
Given:
tan 2A = cot (A-24°)
⇒ tan 2A = tan[90° – (A – 24°)]
⇒ tan 2A = tan[90° – A + 24°]
⇒ tan 2A = tan [114° – A]
⇒ 2A = 114° - A
⇒ 3A = 114°
⇒ A = `(114°)/3`
⇒ A = 38°
