3 tickets are drawn from a box containing 20 lottery tickets.

Solution

3 tickets can be drawn from a box containing 20 lottery tickets in 20C3 ways.

∴ n(S) = 20C3

= `(20*19*18)/(1*2*3)`

= 1140
