Question
Find the interest and the amount on:
₹ 750 in 3 years 4 months at 10% per annum.
Solution
Given P = ₹750
Time (T)`=3 4/12=3 1/3`
`=10/3`years
Rate (R) = 10%
∴ Interest (I) =`"PRT"/100=(750xx10xx10/3)/100`
`=(250xx10xx10)/100`
= ₹250
∴ Amount (A) = P + I
= ₹750 + ₹250
= ₹1000
