From a well-shuffled deck of 52 cards, one card is drawn. Find the probability that the card drawn is a card with number between 2 and 9.

Total number of possible outcomes = 52 

n(S) = 52 

Number between 2 and 9 = {3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8} 

Event of drawing a card with number between 2 and 9 = E = {6H cards, 6D cards, 6S cards, 6C cards} 

n(E) = 24 

Probability of drawing a card with number between 2 and 9 = `(n(E))/(n(S)) = 24/52 = 6/13`
