Solution
During an earthquake, the power supplies are cut off and you may get stuck in the elevator for a long time. Also, if the intensity of an earthquake is very high, there is a chance of lift car falling to the bottom causing you severe damage, but this is very rare. So, it is advised not to use lifts at the time of the earthquake.
