The maximum distance up to which signals can be received, `d = sqrt(2R_Eh_T)`

`=sqrt(2 xx 6400000 xx 80)`

= 32000 m

= 32 km

Hence, the maximum distance up to which the transmitted signal can be received is 32 km.
