Find the ratio of consonants to vowels in the term.
Solution
In mathematical term “Hypotenuse™,
Number of consonants = 6, i.e. (h, y, p, t, n, s)
Number of vowels = 4, i.e. (o, e, u, e)
Ratio of consonants to vowels = `"Number of consonants"/"Number of vowels" = 6/4 = 3/2`
Hence, ratio is 3:2.
