Find the ratio of consonants to vowels in the term.
Solution
In mathematical term "Correspondence,”
Number of consonants = 9, i.e. (c, r, r, s, p, n, d, n, c)
Number of vowels = 5, i.e. (o, e, o, e, e)
Ratio of consonants to vowels = `"Number of consonants"/"Number of vowels" = 9/5`
Hence, ratio is 9:5.
