Question
If `[(2x, 3)] [(1, 2),(-3, 0)] [(x),(8)]` = 0, find the valof x.
Solution
We have `[(2x, 3)] [(1, 2),(-3, 0)] [(x),(8)]` = 0
⇒ `[(2x - 9, 4x)] [(x),(8)] = [0]`
or
`[(2x^2 - 9x, + 32x)] = [0]`
⇒ `2x^2 + 23x` = 0
or
`x(2x + 23)` = 0
⇒ x = 0, x = `(-23)/2`
