Question
If a man spends 70% of his income, what percent does he save?
Solution
Total Income = ₹ 100
70% expenses = `100xx70/100` = ₹ 70
His saving = (100 − 70) = ₹ 30
∴ Percentage of saving = `30/100xx100` = 30%
