If a potted plant is covered with a glass jar, water vapours appear on the wall of glass jar. Explain why?
Solution
In a potted plant, transpiration occurs through the stomata present on the surface of leaves. When a potted plant is covered with a glass jar, water vapours released by transpiration condense and appear as water droplets on the inner walls of the glass jar.
