Imagine that Griffin's conscience pricks him and he decides to write a diary entry, about misusing science and endangering society, in the context of his own experience. Write this diary entry, as Griffin, in about 120 words.

Dear Diary,

Although science has the potential to improve the world, I have yet to put it to good use. My unbridled ambition has turned me into a lawless and violent individual, lacking humanity and kindness. I have acted selfishly, causing harm to others without regard for their wellbeing.

I set fire to my landlord's house, attacked a shopkeeper, fooled Mr. and Mrs. Hall, terrorised them, and stole from the clergy's home. Reflecting, I realise that despite my scientific brilliance, I have been overwhelmed by darkness. My conscience urges me to admit my mistakes.

Kindness prevails over rudeness, but wrath leads to further trouble. I have squandered the opportunity for scientific discovery for personal benefit. However, it is never too late to make amends.
