1. Dust is made up of suspended particles. Dust inhalation produces a variety of symptoms, including allergic asthma, bronchitis, a cold, or a cough.
2. It decreases the light intensity.
3. Dust particles settle on the leaf, obstructing stomata and reducing gaseous exchange in plants.
4. It causes eye discomfort.
5. Dust particles limit plant photosynthetic activity.
6. Smoke, fly ash, silica particles, lead, asbestos, and other contaminants can all be found in it.
