1. Poverty:
   1. Due to poverty, illiteracy, and unemployment, many parents cannot afford to send their children to school.
   2. Instead, they send their children to work and support them to run the fan{ily.
   3. They hardly care if the conditions at work are inhumane or if the children are working at lower wages.
   4. Sometimes, it also happens that poor, illiterate families borrow money from lenders in times of emergencies, and when they are unable to pay the debt, their children are forced to assist them in paying off the debts.
2. Professional needs:
   1. Some industries, like the matchstick, bangle, and firework industries, require delicate hands and little fingers to do minute work with precision.
   2. Since adults are incapable of that, children are forced to work with dangerous elements such as glass, fire, and other hazardous materials.
   3. This often results in accidents.
