Mention any two reactions each of the Congress and the Muslim League to the Cabinet Mission Plan.

The ideas from the Cabinet Mission were met with reluctance from both the Muslim League and the Congress. Disappointed, the Mission left for Britain on June 29, 1946, not satisfying the Muslim League or the Congress, even though specific questions remained unanswered. Later, however, the Muslim League and Congress approved the Cabinet Mission Plan's suggestions. In September 1946, elections for the Constituent Assembly were also held, and an Interim Government was subsequently established.

The Congress's responses:

1. It was not content with the Princely States' autonomy to choose their action.
2. It expressed dissatisfaction with the rights included in the Plan for the Muslim League.

The Muslim League's responses:

1. It was not satisfied because Pakistan's demand was not accepted.
2. The idea of forming a government at the Centre of Congress raised concerns.
