Out of 50 students in a class, 30 are boys. Find the ratio of number of boys to the total number of students
Solution
Total no of students = 50
No of boys = 30
No of girls = 50 – 30 = 20
Ratio of boys to the total no of students = 30 : 50
= `30/50`
= `3/5`
= 3 : 5
