Out of 50 students in a class, 30 are boys. Find the ratio of number of girls to the total number of students
Solution
Total no of students = 50
No of boys = 30
No of girls = 50 – 30 = 20
Ratio of girls to the total number of students = 20 : 50
= `20/50`
= `2/5`
= 2 : 5
