Question
Radha earns 22% of her investment. If she earns Rs 187, then how much did she invest?
Solution
Let the investment be Rs x.
\[i . e . , 22 \% \text{ of }x = 187\]
\[ \Rightarrow \frac{22}{100}x = 187\]
\[ \Rightarrow x = \frac{18700}{22}\]
\[ = 850\]
∴ Radha invests Rs 850.
