\[\text { VAT = 7 % } \]
\[\text { Therefore, VAT = 7 % of Rs } . 175\]
\[ = \frac{7}{100} \times 175\]

\[\text { So, Rani has to pay Rs . 12 . 25 as VAT } . \]
