Question
Shaina pays Rs 15000 as rent for 3 months. How much does she has to pay for a whole year, if the rent per month remains same?
Solution
Rent for 3 months = Rs 15000
Rent for 1 month = `15000/3` = Rs 5000
Therefore, rent for 12 months = 5000 × 12 = Rs 60000
Thus, she has to pay Rs 60000 for a whole year.
