Solution

Shapes Perimeter
(A)

(iii) 20
(B)

(iii) 20
(C)

(ii) 18
(D)

(i) 10

Explanation:

A. We know that,

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 × (Length + Breadth)

Here, length = 6 and breadth = 4

∴ Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 × (6 + 4) = 2 × 10 = 20
B. Here, side = 5

∴ Perimeter of a square = 4 × Side = 4 × 5 = 20   ......[∵ In square all sides are equal]
C. Here, side = 6

∴ Perimeter of an equilateral triangle = 3 × Length of a side = 3 × 6 = 18
D. Given sides are 4, 4 and 2.

∴ Perimeter of an isosceles triangle = Sum of all sides = 4 + 4 + 2 = 10
