Solution
15 – 2 (5 - 3x) = 4 (x - 3) + 13
⇒ 15 - 10 + 6x = 4x - 12 + 13
⇒ 6x - 4x = - 12 + 13 - 15 + 10
⇒ 2x = 23 - 27 = - 4
⇒ x = `(- 4)/2 = - 2`
Hence x = -2
