Question
Solve `sqrt3x^2+10x-8sqrt3=0`
Solution
`sqrt3x^2+10x-8sqrt3=0`
⇒ `sqrt3x^2+12x-2x-8sqrt3=0`
⇒`sqrt3x(x+4sqrt3)-2(x+4sqrt3)=0`
⇒`(x+4sqrt3) (sqrt3x-2)=0`
⇒`x+4sqrt3=0 or sqrt3x-2=0`
⇒`x=-4sqrt3 or x=2/sqrt3=(2sqrt3)/3`
Hence, `-4sqrt3` and `(2sqrt3)/3` are the roots of the given equation.
