1 2 ×× 1 + 4 = 6 3 ×× 1 = 3 No
2 2 ×× 2 + 4 = 8 3 ×× 2 = 6 No
3 2 ×× 3 + 4 = 10 3 ×× 3 = 9 No
4 2 ×× 4 + 4 = 12 3 ×× 4 = 12 Yes

∴ y = 4
