which is equivalent to

⇒ `(21)/(2) > 3 - 4x ≥ - 7`
⇒ `-3 + (21)/(2) > -4x ≥ -7 -3`
⇒ `(15)/(2) > -4x ≥ - 10`
we divide this compound inequality by - 4 and reverse the inequality signs to obtain
`(15)/(2 xx (-4)) < x ≤ (-10)/(-4)`
⇒ `(15)/(-8) < x ≤ (5)/(2)`
The graph of this set is `(-15)/(8) < x ≤ (5)/(2)`.
