Solution

There are 4 corners in a square.

Thrice the number of corners in the square will be 3 × 4 = 12

When this result, i.e. 12, is added to the number, it comes to be 34.

Therefore, the number will be the difference of 34 and 12 i.e., 34 − 12 = 22.
