Question

State Coulomb’s inverse law.

Short Note

Solution

The force of attraction or repulsion between two magnetic poles is directly proportional to the product of their pole strengths and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them,

`vec"F"  prop ("qm"_"A" "qm"_"B")/"r"^2 hat "r"`;

F = `("K" "qm" "A" "qm" "B")/"r"^2`

qmA & qmB – pole strengths of two poles,

r – distance between two magnetic poles.
