Question
The angles of a triangle are in the ratio 3:5: 7. Find each angle.
Solution
Ratio in angles of a triangle is 3: 5: 7
But sum of angles of a triangle = 180°
Sum of ratios = 3 + 5 + 7 = 15
∴ First angle = `180^circ/15 xx 3 = 36^circ`
Second angle = `(180^circ xx 5)/15 = 60^circ`
and third angle = `(180^circ xx 7)/15 = 84^circ`
∴ Angles of the triangle are 36°, 60° and 84°.
