Question

The diameter of a wheel is 84 cm. How many revolutions will it make to cover 792 m?

Options

  • 200

  • 250

  • 300

  • 350

MCQ
Sum

Solution

300

Let d cm be the diameter of the wheel.
We know:
Circumference of the wheel = π × d

`=(22/7xx84)`

= 264 cm

Now,
Number of revolutions to cover 792 m `= ((792xx1000)/264)`

= 300
