Solution

∵ Sum of two rational number = - 4

and one of them = `-13/12`

∴ The other rational number = `- 4 - (- 13/12)`

`= - 4 + 13/12`

`= (- 4 xx 12 + 13)/12`

`= (- 48 + 13)/12 = (- 35)/12`
