What are the facilities and allowances given to a Member of Parliament?
Solution
Members of Parliament are paid such salaries and allowances as are determined from time to time by the Parliament. The members are allowed a daily allowance when the Parliament is in session. They are entitled to free railway travel throughout India. They are also given amenities like housing, telephone, electricity etc.
