Question
What is the Mortar-maker's excuse? Is it believable?
Solution
The mortar maker reported that the potter had constructed a pot with a big mouth. As a result, when he poured water into the mixture, a large amount of water leaked from the pot. The Mortar Maker's explanation was completely false and unbelievable. As a mortar maker, he was responsible for producing high-quality mortar by mixing water in the right amount. He shouldn't have utilized the bad-quality mix. However, he effectively blamed the potter for his mistake.
