Question
Which among these is a better investment:
16% at 80 or 18% at 120
Solution
16 % at 80:
Income on Rs 80 = Rs 16
Income on Rs 1 = `16/80 = 0.20`
18 % at 120:
Income on Rs 120 =Rs 18
Income on Rs 1 =`18/120` = 0.15
Therefore, 16 % at 80 is a better investment.
