Question
Which of the following pairs represent the same rational number?
`(-5)/(-9) "and" 5/(-9)`
Solution
`(-5)/(-9) "and" 5/(-9)`
`(-5)/(-9) = 5/9`
As `5/9 != (-5)/9`, therefore it does not represent same rational number.
