Question
Why does it take some time to see objects in a dim room when you enter the room from bright sunshine outside?
Solution
When we enter a dimly lit room, it takes time for our pupils to expand and let in enough light for the retina to 'see' the objects around. During this time, we are not able to see the objects very clearly.
