Safety Measures
According to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, the need of safety comes right after the need for food and shelter. The chances of accidents, mishaps and disasters occurring are always there. That is why, it is of utmost importance to be prepared for such situations. Because prevention is always better than cure.
Ensure that a fire extinguisher is available at your home, school, tuition and other places you visit. Keep a first-aid kit ready. We need to be aware of first-aid measures and emergency drills.
When you drive a bike or car, use safety gear and follow traffic rules. In situations of emergency, call 100 or 108 immediately. Stay away from tall buildings, live wires, oceans and water bodies during natural disasters. Follow the state-imposed guidelines during such times.
