Question
Write a short note on the scalar product between two vectors.
Short Note
Solution
The scalar product (or dot product) of two vectors is defined as the product of the magnitudes of both the vectors and the cosine of the angle between them. Thus if there are two vectors `vecA` and `vecB` having an angle 0 between them, then their scalar product is defined as `vecA` • `vecB` = AB cos 0. Here, AB and are magnitudes of `vecA` and `vecB`.
