  3. The state must ensure that public health improves.
  4. The state must ensure the protection and improvement of the environment by safeguarding the forests and wildlife of the country.
  5. The state should protect all monuments of historic interest and national importance.
  6. The state should promote, with special care, the educational and economic interests of the weaker sections of society, especially the Scheduled Castes and Tribes.
  7. The State should offer public assistance to citizens in cases of unemployment, old age, sickness, etc.
