Write the rational number whose numerator and denominator are respectively as under:
25 + 15 and 81 ÷ 40
Solution
Given, 25 + 15 and 81 ÷ 40
Let numerator p = 25 + 15 = 40
Denominator q = 81 ÷ 40 = `81/40`
Hence, rational number, `p/q = 40/(81/40) = (40 xx 40)/81 = 1600/81`
